Sensory Orientations: Exploring Commonalities & Differences In Our Ways of Perceiving | January 8 | 7:00 PM | Razzaq Library | In this introductory evening, we will explore four primary ways of ascertaining what is true for ourselves and for others.  We each tend to have a primary mode and less conscious modes through which we gain and process experience, some reaching us through the unconscious:  Thinking, Feeling, Sensation, and Intuition.  Differences between these orientations to our inner and outer environments can generate richness or confusion, complementarity or conflict as we interact with others. Through mini-talks and experiential exercises, our aim is to explore the reality of equally valuable, but different gifts of perception, which together can generate a more balanced field of perception, whether within an individual or a group.  Come learn and share tips on how we may expand awareness of other “channels” of perception than the usual.  The unconscious ones are often the most potent gateways for contact with Source. The focus this evening draws on the work of CJ Jung, the Myers-Briggs typology, Leie Carmody of Walnut House, and Chris O’Reilly of Conscious Evolution, all seminal teachers in my early years. Please RSVP by Sunday, Jan 6.  Sign-up on Bulletin Board, Base Camp, or call me (Ramsay) at (978) 460-7457.  You are requested to arrive on the early side so we can start on time.  Thanks!

Breast Health in Today’s Estrogen Toxic World | January 12 | 1:00 PM | Quddus Meditation Hall | Join Patricia Padmani Bowden-Luccardi, CTT, LMT, CNMT for this free lecture on breast health. Did you know there is a direct link between environmental estrogens, deficiencies in iodine and vitamin D, and breast cancer? Learn how to detox, replenish, and safely screen for breast cancer on a cellular level with time to make adjustments to your lifestyle and transform your cells before they become cancerous. Bring your mother, sister, daughter, or a friend!

Flying Deer Celebrates 20 Years at the Abode | January 13 | 1:30 PM | Former Flying Deer Office | Summer of 1997 heralded the very first muddy, giggling Flying Deer Nature Center campers at the Abode of the Message. Thus was born a beautiful, enduring bond between the flying heart and the flying deer… a bond that thereafter touched the lives and hearts of thousands of children and adults. Thank you, Abode! Right after Sunday brunch on January 13th, stick around for the celebration—a commemorative slideshow, hilarious “old days” storytelling and tasty snacks indoors, then an optional outdoor bonfire. No need to bring anything, other than (optional) outdoor clothing. So we can get an informal headcount, please text Devin’s cell (518-669-3108) if you’re thinking of coming. See you there, and thanks for the fantastic journey!
