Abode Village View – Week of 4/8
“Even to utter the name of God is a blessing that can fill the soul with light and joy and happiness as nothing else can do.” – Hazrat Inayat Khan
Abode Work Morning
Thanks to the many who joined our work morning crew on April 6th. What a tremendous effort! And thanks to the kitchen crew of Pat, Masha, Tim and Iromee Alima for serving us a wonderful meal!
Please join us for our 2nd work morning on April 13, as we complete the spiffing up of the Abode in advance of our season opening on April 19th. On April 13, we will be moving furniture back into the guest rooms and completing painting projects.
New carpeting will be installed in Quddus beginning April 10. Quddus is now closed to the public through April 14.
The carpet we have chosen is a “Green Label Plus” low VOC product, which should provide added comfort for those who have environmental sensitivities.
The work party will start at 9 am, followed by another delicious lunch!
